ZShot bundles an Agent Skill that teaches an agent what ZShot does and how to call it. [`--install-skill`](/reference/flags/agents/install-skill) writes it as a `zshot/` folder into a skills directory, or as a `.zip` package for hosts such as Claude Desktop that install a skill from one file.

## Example

Install where the coding agent running ZShot reads skills, or else into `./.agents/skills`, or `~/.agents/skills` when that is absent:

```sh
zshot --install-skill
```

Install for Claude Code:

```sh
zshot --install-skill ~/.claude/skills/
```

Write a package:

```sh
zshot --install-skill ./zshot.zip
```
