# --emulate-memory

Value: `GB`

Sets `navigator.deviceMemory` and the `Device-Memory` client hint, in GB, rounded to a power of two from 1 to 8. `0` removes both, as on iOS Safari.

## Default

Without this flag the page sees the host's RAM held to the same ceiling: a 4 GB host reports 4, a 32 GB host reports 8. Under a Safari or Firefox user agent it sees `undefined`.
