Cloudflare
- Protocol
- cloudflare://
- Default model
- @cf/cloudflare/clef
Runs a Workers AI model under a Cloudflare account, named as the string’s host or by CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID. The model’s protocol sets what it does:
protocol= | Models | Runs as |
|---|---|---|
typesafe | Decision models, such as Clef | typesafe does: navigator only, choosing among listed alternatives |
openai | Chat models, such as @cf/ | A chat provider, which also formats and writes |
Without protocol=, a model under @cf/cloudflare/clef speaks typesafe and any other openai. A bare model name names one of Cloudflare’s own, so clef is @cf/cloudflare/clef.
Options
| Option | On Cloudflare |
|---|---|
protocol | typesafe or openai, from the model when absent |
gateway | The AI Gateway each call goes through, as CLOUDFLARE_ names it |
vision | A decision model is shown screenshots at stall:3. A chat model is off by default; vision=true opts in one that reads images |
body. | Chat models; fields OpenAI’s chat request names |
header, max_, temperature, top_, frames, timeout | As listed; the chat options apply to chat models |
