Runs a model on an [Ollama](https://ollama.com) server, at `http://localhost:11434` unless the string names a host. ZShot sends no key; reach a server behind an authenticating proxy with `header=Authorization:Bearer%20TOKEN`.

## Options

| Option | On Ollama |
| --- | --- |
| `insecure` | `false` connects over https; Ollama defaults to http |
| [`max_tokens`](/reference/llm_connections/options#max_tokens) | Sent as `options.num_predict` |
| [`vision`](/reference/llm_connections/options#vision-and-frames) | On by default for a model whose name holds `gemma4`, `qwen2.5vl`, `llava`, `minicpm-v`, `internvl2`, `pixtral`, `deepseek-vl2`, `moondream`, `granite3.2-vision`, `kimi-k2.5`, `glm-ocr` or `vision` |
| [`body.<path>`](/reference/llm_connections/options#request-body-fields) | `/api/chat` fields, such as `body.think=true` |
| `header`, `temperature`, `top_p`, `frames`, `timeout` | As [listed](/reference/llm_connections/options) |
